Pingalwara Children’s Poster & Painting (Based on Environmental Themes etc.) Dedicated to the Day
Conducted at Mananwala branch of the organization. This was revealed by Dr. Inderjit Kaur, Head of Pingalwara Institute
She said that students of all the schools under the Pingalwara Institute and patients of the wards Participated. She said that the children also painted beautifully based on the environment in a very beautiful way the posters are very well made.
On this occasion art lover Mr. Bijresh Jolly, Sanjay Kumar, Dharminder Sharma arrived as judges. Dr. Sneha, Psychiatrist
Department, Sri Guru Ram Dass Medical College, Amritsar and Dr. Tejpal Singh (Rita: Professor, Government Medical College, Amritsar) as the Chief Guest. They distributed prizes to the winners and participants. Dr. Inderjit Kaur in her thank you speech said that such competitions would further enhance the talents of the children.
She expressed concern over the deteriorating environment.
In Poster and Painting Competition, Gagandip Singh came first in Group 01 (Bhagat Puran Singh School for Deaf), Gurleenpreet Kaur 2nd (Bhagat Puran Singh School for Deaf), Sonia 3rd (Bhagat Puran Singh Adarsh C.S.S.School), Sukhmanpreet Kaur secured 3rd place (Bhagat Puran Singh School for Deaf).Out of Group 02, Nima won first place (Children Ward, Main Branch), Sapna won second place (Bhagat Puran Singh Special School), Banita secured third place (Palsora Branch, Chandigarh). Sukhmanpreet Kaur was first in Group 03 (Bhagat Puran Singh Special School). Prizes were distributed to the winners.
The chief guests and judges present on the occasion were honored by the Pingalwara Institute.
