The Foundation Day of Pingalwara Branch, Sangrur, was Celebrated with Devotion The speakers emphasized the need to adopt the teachings of Bhagat Puran Singh Ji. The 25th Foundation Day of the Pingalwara branch in Sangrur, established by the All India Pingalwara Charitable Society, Sri Amritsar, was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm under the guidance of Dr. Inderjit Kaur, Tarlochan Singh Cheema, Harjeet Singh Arora, Master Satpal Sharma, and Surinder Pal Singh Sidki.Rajwinder Singh Lucky and Samarpit Singh beautifully decorated the stage, where the Guru Granth Sahib Ji was respectfully carried in a procession led by the Panj Pyare (Five Beloved Ones), and the congregation paid their respects. Subsequently, under the supervision of Harbhajan Singh Bhatti, Gurpreet Singh, Jagjit Singh, Rekha Rani, and Kiran Dua from the Shri Sukhmani Sahib Seva Society, along with women’s satsang groups, recitations of Shri Sukhmani Sahib and the completion of Sehaj Paath were conducted. Following Kirtan performances by teams of society volunteers Gurinder Singh Gujral, Gurkanwal Singh, Gurinder Veer Singh, and Surinder Pal Singh, students from junior and senior groups of the Pingalwara family, Jatinder Singh’s group, students of Bhagat Puran Singh Gurmat College Rohnau, and children from Pingalwara Mananwale presented soulful Gurbani Kirtan in traditional ragas. During stage anchoring by Rajveer Singh from the Pingalwara Trust, renowned scholar and thinker Pyare Lal Garg, agricultural economist Davinder Sharma, and Dr. Deepti emphasized that the corporate model of development not only impoverishes the working class but also degrades the environment of Punjab. They stressed the importance of adopting Bhagat Ji’s teachings and implementing the Gram Panchayat constitution to strengthen democracy. Bhai Gobind Singh Longowal acknowledged Dr. Inderjit Kaur’s leadership in preserving the legacy of Pingalwara and shared heartfelt thoughts. Renowned writers Om Prakash Gasso and Nirmal Singh Rajewal Rohnau praised the efficient arrangements made for patient care under the leadership of Dr. Inderjit Kaur and Tarlochan Singh Cheema, and appealed to the local residents to contribute to the cause. On this occasion, information about books published by Pingalwara was shared by Madam Ritu, Dr. Deepti, and S.S. Cheema, followed by their public presentation by the organizers, Dr. Amarjeet Singh Maan, Captain Narinder Singh Bhathal, Gurmeet Kaur, Sukhdarshan Singh Dhillon, Kulwant Singh Akoi, Gobind Singh Longowal, and Jaspal Singh Malerkotla. Dr. Inderjit Kaur shared memories of Bhagat Puran Singh Ji, emphasized environmental protection, and other important thoughts. She conveyed a message of adopting Bhagat Puran Singh’s inspirations in the light of Gurbani — to love humanity, care for animals and birds, and serve those in need. Surinder Pal Singh Sidki, the administrative secretary, gave a vote of thanks. On this occasion, Rajwinder Singh Lucky along with Giani Mandeep Singh Mureed, Harpreet Singh Preet, and Balwant Singh were specially honored by the Shri Sukhmani Sahib Seva Society for the services rendered by Bibi Inderjit Kaur.
