33rd Death Anniversary of respected Bhagat Puran Singh Ji was celebrated at many places in the country & abroad, other than the main office at Pingalwara.
- At Delhi (Pingalwara Branch):
Shiv Vihar, New Delhi at a branch of All India Pingalwara Society which was inaugurated in February 2014. This function was facilitated by Smt. Ranjit Kaur, member D.G.M.C., in the presence of Shri Guru Granth Sahib Path of Sukhmani Sahib was recited, after that Gurbani Kirtan was recited by Ragi Jatha and Ardas. Langar was served. S. Rajbir Singh, member of All India Pingalwara Society, and Sh. Tilak Raj, General Manager, went to Delhi all the way from Amritsar.
2. U.K.
U.K., Death Anniversary of respected Bhagat Puran Singh Ji was celebrated at Guru Nanak Sikh Community Centre (Swansea) on 4th & 5th August.
3. Canada
In Canada, Anniversary of respected Bhagat Puran Singh Ji at Gurdwara Sahib in Surrey on 5th August Akhand Path Shri Guru Granth Sahib Ji recited. Bibi Abnash Kaur, Chairwoman of Pingalwara Society of Ontario, Canada attended. The society also raised funds for Pingalwara Society of Ontario.
All India Pingalwara Charitable Society has been helping suffering humanity during natural calamities anywhere in India & sometimes abroad. For example, in earthquakes in Latur Maharashtra & Chamoli Uttarakand floods during different times in Punjab .
This year in Punjab, heavy devastation has taken place near Ravi & Beas. This happened due to the greed of the rich people who have cut trees in hilly areas and created four-lane roads in hilly areas, and made big hotels in way of water. Now poor people are suffering.
Pingalwara is in service of humanity and started visiting places of devastation. Following are the places where sewadars of Pingalwara reached and some important articles were distributed. List is given below.
