On the eve of World Hepatitis Day Screening Test for B- Hepatitis and C- Hepatitis was done on all patients of Manawala, Pandori, Goindwal and other three branches located in Amritsar by Rosch Company on recommendation of Dr. Jagtesh Singh Sidhu.
Approximately five per cent of the total residents at the Pingalwara Charitable Society here are suffering from Hepatitis B and C. The society has decided to go for an advanced test to ascertain the level of infection among the patients. The tests were conducted on 1221 residents.
