On 15th August 2012, 65th Independence Day was celebrated at Bhagat Puran Singh Adarsh School, Buttar Kalan, Quadian Distt: Gurdaspur with great enthusiasm. Dr. Inderjit Kaur Patron President All India Pingalwara Charitable Society (Regd.), Amritsar was the Chief Guest.
On arrival at the school, Dr. Inderjit Kaur was received by Principal Lakhwinder Kaur and group of small school children with flower bouquets. Welcome song was also presented by small Nursery Kids.
Dr. Inderjit Kaur in the presence of galaxy of distinguished guests unfurled the National Flag and took the salute. The program was followed by the colourful Cultural programme by the school children. During this programme the children sang the patriotic songs and presented small play on patriotic theme.
Dr. Inderjit Kaur in her speech exhorted the students to work hard in their studies to bring laurels to the school and serve the nation as true citizens of the country. S. Gurnaib Singh Edu.
