On 24th July 2025, the B.Ed. students of Lilly Swords Methodist College of Education, Batala, visited the Bhagat Puran Singh Pingalwara Charitable Society, Manawala Branch.
The visit offered the students an opportunity to closely observe the functioning of Pingalwara and to understand the noble mission of serving humanity as envisioned by Bhai Sahib Bhagat Puran Singh Ji. They interacted with the residents, explored the various facilities, and learned about the institution’s initiatives in healthcare, education, rehabilitation, and environmental conservation.
For the students, this exposure was both educational and inspiring. It provided them with valuable lessons on empathy, compassion, and the importance of social responsibility—qualities that are essential not only in their professional journey as educators but also in their personal lives.
