Bio-gas plant inaugurated at Pingalwara

Bio-gas plant was inaugurated at Manawala Branch on Bhagat Ji Birthday

Celebrating the Bhagat Puran Singh ji’s 120th Birth Anniversary functions, today i.e. 03 June 2024, Bio-gas plant (Gobar Gas) was inaugurated at Manawala Branch of All India Pingalwara Charitable Society (regd.) Amritsar . The ceremony was performed by S. Bhagwant Singh Dilawari (IFS) and Dr. Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh (MLA), Amritsar. This Bio-gas plant is situated adjoining Gaushalla. On this occasion Dr. Inderjit Kaur, President Pingalwara Society shared her thoughts with the press. She said that it is a matter of great pride that bio-gas, the alternative energy resource will be used to prepare langar in this branch. She said that Pingalwara is always willing to use such natural resources. Pingalwara is using such natural resources and is presenting these models to society for the awareness of public.On this occasion S. Harpal Singh Chika, Director Punjabi literature and culture said that humanity needs a clean Environment and the priceless gifts bestowed by nature for the benefit of humanity must be used carefully.

The Inspiration for Gober Gas plant came from Lambran Kangrhi cooperative Society S.Jaswinder Singh Saini is the Secretary of this society. Dr. Sarbjeet Singh Soch Principal Punjab Agriculture University gave technical guidance for to complete this project. Imaris Newcast (India) Private Ltd donated Rs. 5, 00,000 for this project. Pingalwara is thankful to all those who contributed for the completion of this project.
