Amritsar, October 1, 2025:
A special service ceremony was organized at the Head Office of the All India Pingalwara Charitable Society (Regd.), Amritsar, to mark the auspicious occasion of Parkash Gurpurab Sri Guru Ramdas Ji and the International Week of the Deaf.
Under the leadership of Pingalwara Society’s Vice President, Dr. Jagdeepak Singh, hearing aids were fitted for six hearing-impaired patients by team member Tarundeep Singh (Technician). The beneficiaries included a seven-year-old girl and five elderly individuals aged between 50 and 60 years. The installation of new hearing devices brought renewed happiness, confidence, and hope into their lives.
These hearing aids were generously donated by Dr. Jasdev Singh Rai, who visited Pingalwara from the USA to support this noble cause.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Jagdeepak Singh reaffirmed Pingalwara’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of differently-abled individuals and emphasized that the organization will continue to motivate all sections of society to extend their support toward such humanitarian initiatives.
On this occasion, Pingalwara’s Mukh Sewadar, Dr. Inderjit Kaur, personally interacted with the patients, ensured the smooth distribution of hearing aids, and offered words of affection, encouragement, and care.
This meaningful initiative by Pingalwara not only illuminated the lives of hearing-impaired individuals but also conveyed a strong message to society: through cooperation, compassion, and modern facilities, differently-abled persons can be effectively integrated into the mainstream of society.
