Foundation Day Celebration of Sangrur Branch

All India Pingalwara Charitable Society has 6 branches. One branch is at Sangrur. Every year we celebrate foundation day of that branch on last Sunday of March. This year i.e in 2024 Pingalwara Society celebrated this day on 30th & 31st March. On 30th March We had a programme on our virsa (Heritage). Punjab people used to live simple lives and used to take nourshing diet but now our thinking has changed. We have started living artificial life and food which is less nutritional. To awaken the people we celebrated our virsa (Heritage) as depicted in pictures. All the people who attended were happy after celebrations.
On 31st March
Sawari of Shiri ‘Guru granth sahib’ ji was brought by panj piaras is after that sangat recited Sukhmani sahib then bhog of sehaj path of shiri guru granth sahib. Children of pingalwara recited gurbani kirtan. Environment scholars delivered their awakening speeches and told sadh sangat that pingalwara is playing great role to save environment and save democracy in vilaages by Gram Sabhas. Environment speeches were S. Hamir Singh, Shri Pyara lal garg and Prof. Gurnaib Singh. There was pindrop silence is pandal.
