The martyrdom day of 9 th Sikh Guru Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji was observed with devotion by the students and staff members of B.P.S Adarsh Sen. Sec. school at Pingalwara Manawala Complex.
The students and staff members enchanted “Shlokas” from the “Guru Bani” Guru Teg Bahadur ji. Shabad Kirtan was recited by the students. Miss Kuldeep Kaur threw right on the various aspects of guruji’s life and his teachings. Students also delivered speeches on the supreme sacrifice of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji for the sake of truth, justice and protection of fundamental human rights. Poems were also recited by the students. Quiz competition was conducted to evaluate the knowledge of students about Guru Ji’s Life. “Karah Prasad” was distributed after offering prayer (Ardaas) Langer was served to all the students and staff members. S. Gurnaib Singh Ji motivated the students to participate in such program in future also. He said that Guru Ji’s Martyrdom inspires us to uphold values
