MEDICAL CHECKUP

Dedicated to Bhagat Puran Singh 23rd Barsi Celebrations, the programme commenced with inauguration of free Cancer and Medical checkup Camp at Manawala Branch of Pingalwara. During the Camp Mammography & Pep Test were conducted for the patients. In addition free ECG and Blood Sugar Tests were also conducted. ENT, Eye, child specialists (pediatrician) and medical specialists attended to the patients. The camp was inaugurated by Dr.Tejpal Singh Retd. Prof. Government Medical College Amritsar.
A Dental Centre to cater to the need of dental care for the Manawala residents was also set up. The inauguration of Dental Centre was done by Dr. Karnail Singh Retd. Principal Government Medical College Amritsar.
A bone marrow density test was also carried out for over 300 patients. Calcium tablets were distributed free to the patients.
