AARTI DEVI AND HER SON REUNITED WITH THEIR FAMILY
Aarti Devi aged 40 years old was found abandoned at Amritsar Railway Station by Railway Police on 19-04-2019. This lady was accompanied by her newly born three days old child. She was mentally disturbed and could not take-care of her newly born child properly. She was going to throw her child after stuffing him in a bag. Due to the efforts of District Child Protection Unit the mother and child were admitted in Guru Nanak Dev Hospital. After treatment at Hospital, on 23-04-2019 she was admitted in All India Pingalwara Charitable Society(Regd.), Amritsar through Child Welfare Committee. Aarti Devi due to her depressive state was not in a position to tell from which place she belonged to. Slowly due to constant medical care, intimae interaction with the Nursing Staff and counseling by the staff she started narrating about her relatives and informed that she belonged to Village Devajit Parsauni, Distt. Motihari, Bihar. She also told the name of her husband as Kamlesh Kumar Chaurasia.
On 26th August, 2019, she alongwith two caretakers from Pingalwara was taken to her native place and reunited with her family. Our caretakers were informed that she already had three daughters and arrival of a son in the family was greeted with extreme joy by the whole village.
