27th July 2025, a Thanks giving Ceremony to god was held at the Bhagat Puran Singh Ward of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Hospital, Majitha Road, Amritsar, to mark the 33rd death anniversary of Bhagat Puran Singh Ji, the founder of Pingalwara Institution. It was second anniversary of opening of Bhgat Puran Singh Ward after reciting the daily Nitnem prayers, the final prayer (Bhog) was performed. The entire program was conducted under the guidance of Bibi Dr. Inderjit Kaur Ji and members of the Pingalwara Institution.
While addressing the congregation, Dr. Inderjit Kaur Ji stated that this ward was established to care for and serve destitute patients. So far, around 57 abandoned patients have recovered in this ward and returned to their homes. The Pingalwara volunteers are taking excellent care of the patients, and even the hospital staff is learning a lot from them. On this occasion, Bibi Dr. Inderjit Kaur Ji and the members also planted saplings at Guru Nanak Dev Hospital.
