On May 12, 2025, Pingalwara’s Manawala branch had the honor of welcoming Mr. Mandeep Singh Sidhu, Retired Deputy Inspector General of Police (Patiala), along with his wife Mrs. Sukhmeen Kaur Sidhu and their son Amiteshwar Singh Sidhu.
Upon their arrival, the esteemed guests were warmly received by Dr. Inderjit Kaur, Mukh Sewadar of Pingalwara, and S. Jai Singh, Co-Administrator of the institution. Their visit was marked by a spirit of humility, learning, and heartfelt appreciation for the humanitarian work being carried out at Pingalwara.
Dr. Inderjit Kaur guided the family through the administrative block, where they viewed a rich collection of photographs, handwritten documents, and literature that beautifully depict the life, vision, and mission of Bhagat Puran Singh Ji, the revered founder of Pingalwara. These exhibits served as a poignant reminder of Bhagat Ji’s selfless dedication to serving the sick, destitute, and differently-abled.
The tour continued with visits to various service centers including the artificial limb center, rehabilitation center, bakery unit, and multiple wards and educational facilities associated with Pingalwara. The family expressed deep admiration for the comprehensive care and support provided to residents, highlighting the institution’s unwavering commitment to human dignity.
As a token of respect and remembrance, Dr. Inderjit Kaur presented the visiting family with a symbolic photograph of Bhagat Ji, honoring their visit and reinforcing the spiritual and humanitarian legacy that continues to inspire generations.
