13th Unified Games were organized at Pingalwara Manawala Complex

13th Unified Games were organized at Pingalwara Manawala Complex by Dr. Inderjit Kaur, President All India Pingalwara Charitable Society and Mr. Chandra Shekhar Kohli from USA. These games were dedicated to the sweet memory of Late Mrs. Madhumita Singh W/o Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh, Hon’ble MLA, Late Sqd. Leader Madan Singh Kohli and Late. Jaswant Kaur Bagga. The students of BPS Adarsh School, BPS School for the Deaf, BPS Special School and BPS institute for Special needs running under the aegis of All India Pingalwara Charitable Society (Regd.) Amritsar participated in these games. The eminent sports person, Dr. Sukhdev Singh, Retd. Professor, Dept. of Physical Education, G.N.D.U was the chief guest. He performed flag hoisting ceremony and inaugurated the games. Eminent Hockey player S. Jermanpreet Singh, Mohammad Imran, Hon’ble MLA Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh, Mr. Ranjit Singh Tut, Dr. J.S. Sandhu were guests of honour on this occasion. The children participated in 25-50 metre race, Walk race, Wheel chair race, Long jump, Relay race, Tug of war etc. The children of Pingalwara Family enthralled the audience by performing Yoga and Gatka. Punjabi Folk Dance Giddha was presented by the Deaf students and Bhangra was presented by the residents of Pingalwara. Dr. Sukhdev Singh said that sports make us physically fit, mentally alert, intellectually wise and emotionally balanced personality. Dr. Jagdeepak Singh, vice-president Pingalwara Society thanked the Guests and all the spectators and said that these Unified Games create a unique scene. Medals were awarded to the winner players and volunteers were honoured with trophies. On this Occasion, the members of Pingalwara Society Dr. Jagdeepak Singh, S. Rajbir Singh, S. Harjit Singh Arora, Mrs. Preetinder Kaur, Mr. Billa Kohli, Mr. Shaam Kohli, Mrs. Narinder Kaur Kohli, Mrs. Asha Saini, S. Jatinder Saini, Mr. Vikram Kohli, Mr. Chandra Kohli, Mr. Narinder Kohli, Dr. Parminder Kaur Saini, Dr. Gurmanjit Kaur, Mr. Girdhari lal Saini, Mr. Azad Kohli, Sushmita Kohli, Kabir Kohli, Uday Singh Saini, Mehraj Singh Saini, S. Manohar Singh Saini, Chander Mohan Saini, Hardeep Saini, Rajkumar Saini, S. Rajinder Singh, Ranga Singh Pehalwaan, S. Palwinder Singh and Staff members of BPS Group of Schools and Institute and Incharges of various departments of Pingalwara were present. Refreshments were served to the students.
