Winning Medals in World Special Winter Olympics
Pingalwara three children Raju Rajinder, Poonam and Suraj after winning Medals and Participating in World Special Winter Olympics- 2017 held at Viena (Austria) arrived in Amritsar and were given me mammoth reception by District Administration, Representative by S. Gurpreet Singh Tehsildar -II and all residents of Pingalwara at Manawala Branch.
Raju Rajinder won Gold Medal in Floor Hockey Game and Poonam won bronze Medal in Floor Hockey Game (Women) and Suraj participated in Unified Floor Hockey. Dr.Inderjit Kaur President All India Pingalwara Charitable Society and other members of Pingalwara Society including S. Mukhtar Singh Hony. Secy., Rajbir Singh Member, Jagjiwan Singh Gill, Abnash Kaur, Darshan Singh Bawa Administrator, Tilak Raj, Jai Singh, Gurdev Singh Principal, Gurnaib Singh and large number of teachers, students of various schools run under the aegis of Pingalwara society welcomed.
They were brought in a procession from Manawala Complex to Main Branch Pingalwara and again were accorded warm reception by Pingalwara residents. On the route they were accorded warm reception at Amritsar Main Gate and Ram Talai Chowk by Amritsar residents.
Dr.Inderjit Kaur welcoming them exhorted all other students to excel in games and studies and won laurel for the Pingalwara so that its name is known all over the world.
