As the sun rises on yet another milestone, All India Pingalwara Charitable Society is filled with reverence and gratitude as we prepare to celebrate the 121st birth anniversary of Bhagat Puran Singh Ji, the saint of the suffering, the guardian of the forsaken, and the divine soul whose life was a mission of sewa (selfless service).
This year, the samagam (celebration) will take place in two parts:
- Barsi Samagam on 28th May 2025 (Wednesday).
- Main Function on 4th June 2025 (Wednesday) at the main Bus Stand, Amritsar – the headquarters of Pingalwara.
🕊️ Who Was Bhagat Puran Singh Ji?
Bhagat Ji was not just a visionary but a compassionate humanitarian who transformed the concept of care for the destitute into a powerful movement. From carrying the abandoned Piara Singh on his shoulders for years to establishing Pingalwara as a sanctuary for the sick, orphaned, and disabled, Bhagat Ji’s life was an embodiment of “Service to mankind is service to God.”

The program on 4th June 2025 will be a soulful tribute to Bhagat Ji’s legacy, filled with kirtan, spiritual reflections, and community bonding.
