5th AUGUST 2019, DEATH ANNIVERSARY OF BHAGAT PURAN SINGH JI
All India Pingalwara Charitable Society 5th August 2019 on Monday the 27th death anniversary of Bhagat Puran Singh Ji, the great social worker, handicapped, disabled and heirs of the Twentieth Century. The Akhand Paath Sahib kept by Dhan Baba Deep Singh Ji Seva Society was found here. A hymn was performed by Bhai Jasbir Singh of Punjab & Singh Bank. Subsequently, under the guidance of Nishan Sahib and the Panj Pyare, the light of Sri Guru Granth Sahib was decorated in the open pandal.
The Kirtan Darbar of the Tribute Ceremony was started by the children of the Pingalwara institution through their beautiful kirtan. Then Prof. Kartar Singh Director Gurmat Sangeet Academy, Sri Anandpur Sahib Roparwalas celebrated the Sangat by performing a beautiful melody with the tangi instruments. Former Jathedar Singh Sahib Giani Gurbachan Singh of Akal Takht Sahib shed light on the life of Bhagat Ji. On this occasion, Singh Sahib Giani Gurbachan Singh Ji paid homage to Bhagat Ji and paid tribute to his community and said that the true form of selfless service in Sikh principles is through Bhagat Singh Pingat Bhayat by Pingalwara.

The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, chaired by Bhai Gobind Singh Longowal, highlighted the remarkable personality of Bhagat Ji and his work towards his community. Inderjeet Kaur, the chief of the service, Pingalwara, Amritsar, under the guidance of Bhagat Ji, thanked the Sikh community for the service of the Lavaris by the Pingalwara and said that after the Guru’s house Pingalwara is an institution which, in the true sense, has Guru Nanak Sahib. Serving the poor, the orphans, the oppressed and the orphans. Dr. Kulwant Kaur President Mai Bhago Brigade Patiala paid homage to Bhagat Ji’s service to the community.
