ENVIRONMENT AND WATER DEGRADATION SEMINAR ON BHAGAT JI's BARSI
The All India Pingalwara Society announced a series of social welfare activities and programs to mark the 27th death anniversary of its founder Bhagat Puran Singh. The main agenda of this occasion is the environment and water crisis of Punjab. All environmentalist participated.
Our main guest of honor is Sant Balbir Singh Sichewal and the main edition editor of Ajit newspaper Satnam Singh. Addressing, director, pingalwara, Dr. Inderjit Kaur expressed concerns over the low level of water and their problems. She said Punjab is facing so many challenges against water.
Sant Balbir Singh also expressed his concerns about the polluted water which is drained by the industries in rivers which causes cancer. Satnam Singh said that Punjab’s main crops wheat and rice has taken most of the groundwater because of that groundwater level become decreases day by day and may cause huge problems in future. Other members like Dr. Amar Singh Azad, Gyani Kewal Singh have also expressed his views about water crises of Punjab.
