Today at Mananwala branch of Pingalwara organization, Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar Member Punjab Vidhan Sabha visited. He was welcomed by Dr. Inderjit Kaur and her team.
During the visit, Dr. Inderjit Kaur gave him a glimpse into the life of Bhagat Puran Singh ji through his photographs. She then met the children of Bhagat Puran Singh Adarsh Senior Secondary School in a smart class. He then visited the children’s ward and the men’s ward, where he met with young children and patients. The special school children then welcomed him. At the school, he learned about the sensory room and congratulated the children on winning medals at the International Special Olympics. After this he visited the school of Bhagat Puran Singh deaf children and got information about their educational structure.
After this Chief Sewadar of Pingalwara, Dr. Inderjit Kaur handed over a petition to him in which she said that Bhagat Puran Singh’s birthday is celebrated on 4th June every year with great pomp. June 5 is celebrated as World Environment Day. Therefore, it is fitting that this year 4 or 5 June 2022 should be celebrated as a state level function by the Punjab Government dedicating Bhagat Puran Singh ji to the work done for the environment. He also said that the event would pay homage to Bhagat Puran Singh ji in the true sense of the word for his work on humanity and environment.
After the visit, Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar became emotional and assured Dr. Inderjit Kaur Chief Service Officer of the Pingalwara Society that he would request the Punjab Government through the Chief Minister of Punjab to consider the above suggestion and request for full approval.
On this occasion Pingalwara family people Sh. Rajbir Singh Member, Sr. Harjit Singh Arora Member, Col. Darshan Singh Bawa Administrator, Sr. Jai Singh, Sr. Yogesh Suri, Sr. Narinderpal Singh, Shri. Gulshan Ranjan etc. were present.
