Natural Farming workshop at Pingalwara

In the series of Natural Farming and Rural Economy workshop sponsored jointly by Unnat Bhaarat Abhiyan and Pingalwara Society, North zone workshop was organized at Pingalwara Manawala Branch on 15 March 2016 and will held also on 16 March 2016.
The emphasis during this workshop is to encourage the organic/ Natural farming so that people can be saved from the ill effects of pesticides and chemical fertilizers and its dangerous impact on the people.
The inaugural address was given by Sh. Hirdaynath Singh Ji. During his address he laid emphasis on the development of natural farming and encouragement of cow in the rural economy.
Dr. Inderjit Kaur President All India Pingalwara Charitable Society (Regd.), Amritsar during her address emphasizes that founder of Pingalwara Bhagat Puran Singh Ji had been emphasizing on the Development of Rural Economy and on saving of the livestock. She said that due to the intensive utilization of the fertilizer and pesticide we are suffering from various diseases and dreadful cancer and mentally retarded children. Hence there is a need to shift the agriculture to organic/ natural farming.
Renowned Agriculture scientist, progressive farmers from the North Region attended the workshop. S. Rajbir Singh Member Pingalwara Society was the man behind organization of this workshop. Prominent among those who attended the workshop were Sh.
