Seminar on Environmental Degradation and Climate Change

Confederation of UNESCO Clubs and Associations in India in association with All India Pingalwara Charitable Society(Regd.), Amritsar conducted three days Seminar on Environmental Degradation and Climate Change at Manawala Complex of Pingalwara. The programme was inaugurated by Sh. Dhirendra Bhatnagar Secretary General of UNESCO Club and Association of India and President of World Federation of UNESCO Clubs.

Dr. Inderjit Kaur President Pingalwara in her inaugural address laid stress on the need of maintaining the Ecological Balance and to prevent Environment degradation. Dr. Inderjit Kaur explained that Pingalwara is a great votary of maintaining Environment clean through Plantation of Trees and Organic Farming.
During the seminar great interest was generated through the interactive session. Dr. S.S. Chhina President in Indian Chapter of Association UNESCO Club and Association and Dr. Dhirendra Bhatnagar President of World Federation of UNESCO Clubs warned that Environment degradation in the country is increasing day-by-day which is a cause of great concern. It is our duty to maintain the Ecological Balance and Keep the environment clean. Over 32 delegates from 15 different states came to attend the seminar.

Dr. Jagdeepak Singh Vice President Pingalwara, S. Mukhtar Singh Secretary Pingalwara, S. Rajbir Singh Member, Col. Darshan Singh Bawa Administrator, S. Jai Singh and Sh. Yogesh Suri were present during this seminar.
