Seventh National Deaf Men’s T-20 Cricket Championship

Punjab team continues to shine in the Seventh National Deaf Men’s T-20 Cricket Championship. The players of Punjab team are continuously performing brilliantly. Punjab Deaf and Dumb Sports Association won its first match. Batting first, they scored 130 runs in 20 overs, losing 6 wickets, but Gujrat Sports Council of Deaf team was all out after scoring 76 runs in 14.3. Rinku Singla, director of Punjab Deaf and Dumb Sports Association said that his team also defeated Chhattisgarh team in the second Match. Batting first, Chhattisgarh team scored 53 runs for the loss of 10 wickets in 15.1 overs, In reply Punjab team scored 54 runs losing 1 wicket in just 4 overs. Similarly in 3 rd match, Orissa Sports Association team was also defeated by Punjab team by 6 wickets. Orissa Sports Association scored 127 runs by losing 5 wickets in 18 overs while Punjab team scored 131 runs by losing 4 wickets in 15.3 Overs. Rinku Singla congratulated all the team members and said that their aim is to win the trophy in the tournament.

4 players ( Balraj Singh, Anil, Sahil and Harmanbir Singh) are playing from Bhagat Puran Singh School for the Deaf, Pingalwara Amritsar in the Punjab team.
