Mr. Tim Uppal Canada’s Minister of State for Democratic Reforms visited Manawala Complex of All India Pingalwara Charitable Society (Regd.), Amritsar on 11 Nov., 2012
On arrival at Manawala Branch he was received by Dr. Inderjit Kaur President Pingalwara Society, S. Mukhtar Singh Hony. Secy, S. Rajbir Singh Member Pingalwara Society and Col. Darshan Singh Bawa Administrator among others.
During his one hour visit he visited the patient’s wards, Prosthetic and Physiotherapy Centers and Educational Institutions run by Pingalwara Society. He was highly impressed and moved to see so many smiling faces at the complex and stated that Pingalwara was treating the residents with utmost love and care. He expressed the desire to contribute towards Pingalwara goals and assured that back home he would make all efforts to motivate the people to contribute generously for the Pingalwara cause.
