Clara Garcia, an amateur photographer from Barcelona
Is travelling around Asia as a volunteer to host workshops about creative photography. Having finished her workshops in Myanmar and Nepal she arrived at Pingalwara on 5th January 2016 for a 10 days workshop. She taught the basics of photography to the senior boys and for the children there was a creative workshop in the form of ‘Bubble Project’ and a fun workshop with transparencies and the photographs. The whole workshop was immensely enjoyed by the children. Clara plans to do her next workshop with street children in Jaipur. Dr Inderjit kaur congratulated Clara for arranging an educative and creative workshop.
She also informed about the forth coming Punjab Chess tournament for the Deaf children to be held at Pingalwara on 31st January 2016 in which about 50 deaf children from Punjab are likely to participate.
On this occasion Daljit kaur Principal, Bhagat Puran Singh School for the Deaf, S. Jai Singh, administrator Pingalwara Manawala, Rajinder Pal Singh and others were also present.
