Later in the day, the members of the expedition were warmly welcomed by the inmates of All India Pingalwara Charitable Society, Manawala, Amritsar, along with the President of the society Dr. Inderjeet Kaur, who while appreciating the efforts said that today the youth have to emulate the ideas of Shaheed Bhagat Singh who believed in oneness of mankind, power to poorest of poor and a peaceful and sustainable world based on the contributions of youth. Dr. Inderjeet Kaur also honoured on the occasion a participating cyclist Mr. Siddappa Gangamaligaiah, a vascular surgeon from Mysore for his exemplary endeavours in the medical arena.
