On 23/02/2026, an important meeting of the Advisory Committee was held at the Pingalwara Headquarters. The meeting was chaired by Bibi Dr. Inderjit Kaur Ji.
The main agenda of the meeting was to discuss the celebration of the Environmental Awareness Centenary, marking 100 years of the environmental conservation movement initiated by Bhagat Puran Singh Ji.
Members of the Pingalwara Society and the Advisory Committee participated in the meeting. Detailed discussions were held to ensure the successful (organization) of the upcoming event. Valuable suggestions were received from the members present, and their inputs were warmly welcomed.
During the meeting, discussions were also held regarding future activities aimed at promoting environmental protection and awareness. It was resolved by the organization that the centenary celebration would be observed in a special manner with the objective of fostering a sense of responsibility and awareness towards the environment among the general public.
