A Seminar on Women and Health dedicated to International Women day was held on 09 March 2014 at Manawala Complex of Pingalwara. Dr. Karanjit Singh Director Health Services Punjab and Dr. Tejbir Singh Director Research and Medical Education Punjab were the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour respectively. Bibi Abnash Kaur President Pingalwara Society of Ontario was the special Guest of Honor. The seminar was largely attended by the medical faculties of Guru Nanak Dev Hospital and Sri Guru Ram Das Hospital Amritsar and Nursing students from various colleges of Amritsar.
