192 villages of Tarn Taran block of the Tarn Tarn district are going to have their first school for the deaf children. Pingalwara outreach program has opened the school in two rooms provided by S. Gurjant Singh, who has a 11 years old deaf son. The school will be manned by a hearing teacher and a deaf teacher and is funded by Home of Hope, Berkley, Californai. The school will also get daily Skype lessons along with two other Pingalwara schools. There are 16 students in the first batch.
